Sesnando Davides and was part of the Mondego Defensive Line, serving as the advance guard of Coimbra. It is the main stage for one of the biggest national Christmas events, the «Penela Presépio» and the Penela Medieval Fair, one of the oldest in the country. #### Pedra da Ferida Waterfall Located in Serra do Espinhal, this admirable waterfall is hidden, which is almost 25 meters high and has a fantastic natural pool.
